Job Summary
Operate a ready-mix truck safely and efficiently to deliver concrete to customer job sites, performing pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness. Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and plant personnel while maintaining accurate delivery documentation and adhering to all safety and quality procedures. Support plant operations as needed to ensure timely and efficient production. This role requires a valid CDL and the ability to work in fast-paced environments with variable assignments, including exposure to moving mechanical equipment and inclement weather.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and follow established driving protocols
- Strong customer-service mindset with clear communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliable work practices
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with variable daily assignments
- Must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination
- Must submit to drug/alcohol screen
