Job Summary
Ready-Mix Driver operates trucks to receive loads, evaluates slump, and delivers concrete to job sites. Responsibilities include maneuvering trucks on job sites, attaching chutes, maintaining truck cleanliness, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting maintenance, and communicating with dispatch and management to ensure timely, safe deliveries. Must comply with federal/state DOT safety policies, work in various weather conditions, and be willing to work flexible shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Commercial Driver License Class A (preferred) or Class B (minimum requirement)
- Must be able to read, write, speak English
- Must be able to enter and deliver material into the refinery
- Pre-employment screenings including DOT physical, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report
- Previous truck driving experience (concrete experience preferred, but not required)
- Ready-mix industry knowledge or related industry is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexible shifts including night, weekends and overtime
