Job Summary
Deliver ready-mixed concrete to construction job sites within a reasonable proximity; perform pre-trip inspection of a ready-mix truck; load and discharge concrete, manage admixtures and ancillary products, place chutes, and ensure desired slump per specifications; complete all paperwork and, if needed, collect payments; communicate with dispatch via radio and status systems; maintain truck cleanliness and safety, including washout; promote professional image and customer satisfaction; work up to 10+ hour days with overtime and potential Saturday shifts; start and end days at the same location; participate in training and benefit programs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A or B
- Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation drug screen and physical
- obtain DOT Medical Card
- Safe operation of heavy vehicle in compliance with company policy and state/federal laws
