Job Summary
Operate a Ready Mix concrete truck for delivering, mixing, and pouring, while conducting daily cleaning, greasing, and preventative maintenance. Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections, sign delivery tickets, and assemble chutes to release concrete per customer requests. Monitor truck and equipment operation, utilizing GPS and CB radios to communicate with dispatch, and adhere to all state and federal regulations. Drive to weigh stations in compliance with regulations and ensure trucks are parked in the company lot with full fuel and DEF at day's end.
Required Qualifications
- CDL
- Employees are required to conform to all Federal, State, DOT, OSHA safety requirements
- Employees are expected to report on time
- Employees are expected to be in full uniform
- High-visibility work shirt, vest, and/or coat
- Work pants, jeans
- Safety-toed work boots
- Requires walking on terrain that may be uneven, muddy, and slippery
- Exposure to sounds and noise levels that may be distracting or uncomfortable
- Exposure to diesel exhaust, dust, and water mist or vapor and concrete silicate
- Variable lighting conditions, dependent upon available natural light
