Job Summary
Technical Analyst responsible for disassembling, inspecting, evaluating and assembling CAT equipment components to OEM standards; compiling component analysis and reports; maintaining professional image representing BWE; handling warranty remans returns and compiling component condition/failure reports; emphasizing safety; repairing and maintaining CAT equipment; requires matric or equivalent, relevant trade qualification (NQF 3), 5+ years component rebuilding experience, and valid Code C1 driver’s license; knowledge of SIS/STW/ET, warranty systems, and supplier policies; Engine Dyno experience advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent
- Qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) NQF 3
- Component specific technical knowledge and skills
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills and basic technical report writing
- Basic business and financial understanding
- Computer Literacy (SIS, STW & ET) knowledge
- Component rebuilding experience – minimum 5 years
- Applicable product knowledge
- Drivers licence – Code C1
- Understanding of supplier warranty systems, policies & procedures
- Engine Dyno experience as an advantage
