Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions with pairs of students for 20-minute reading practice, tracking progress and entering scores into data software. Conduct skill assessments, meet regularly with the school's on-site coach, and follow a schedule to ensure consistent support. Share your experience with the community while committing to personal growth through coaching and training. Serve as a caring adult focused on helping children thrive, building their skills and confidence. Positions run August 2026 through May 2027 for the 2026-27 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
