Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions for pairs of students, conducting 20-minute reading practice sessions daily while tracking progress and entering scores into data software. Conduct skill assessments, meet regularly with the school's on-site coach, and follow a schedule to ensure consistent support. Commit to personal growth through coaching and training while sharing your experience with the community. Serve as a caring adult focused on helping children thrive in reading skills.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
- Monday-Friday (no weekends)
