Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions for pairs of students, conducting 20-minute reading practice blocks and guiding them back to the classroom. Track student progress by performing skill assessments and entering scores into data software. Meet regularly with the school's on-site coach to review data and ensure support aligns with the schedule. Commit to personal growth through coaching and training while sharing your experience with the community. You will work Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with time off for holidays and school release days.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
- Monday-Friday (no weekends)
