Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions at Reading Oak Elementary by pairing students for 20-minute reading practice and tracking their progress in data software. Conduct skill assessments, enter student scores, and meet regularly with the on-site coach to monitor growth. Follow a daily schedule to ensure all students receive support, then return them to their classrooms for the next pair. Commit to your own development through coaching and training while encouraging student confidence. Serve as a caring adult focused on helping children thrive during the 2026-27 school year.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
