Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions at Huerta Elementary School, pairing students for 20-minute reading practice and managing rotations to ensure all students receive support. Conduct skill assessments, enter scores into data software, and track progress by meeting regularly with the school's on-site coach. Deliver proven activities while encouraging student growth and sharing your experience with the community. Positions run August 2026–June 2027 for the 2026-27 school year, with full-time schedules of 35 hours per week during daytime Monday-Friday hours.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
