Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions with pairs of students for 20-minute reading practice, tracking progress, conducting skill assessments, and entering scores into data software. Follow a daily schedule to ensure all students receive support, then guide them back to their classrooms. Meet regularly with the school's on-site coach and commit to your own growth through coaching and training. Serve as a caring adult focused on helping children thrive while sharing your experience with the community. This part-time role runs August 2026 through June 2027 for 35 hours per week during daytime hours Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check
