Job Summary
Lead tutoring sessions with pairs of students for 20-minute reading practice, tracking progress and entering scores into data software. Conduct skill assessments, follow a schedule to ensure support, and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach. Share your experience with the community while committing to personal growth through coaching and training. You will be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive, providing encouragement and celebrating their confidence as they build skills.
Required Qualifications
- Dependable and have a history of good attendance
- Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback
- Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online)
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- Able to successfully complete a background check
