Job Summary
Install specialty truck equipment such as service utility bodies, stake bodies, dump bodies, hitches, and commercial accessories. Mount hitches, shelves, drawers, ladder racks, and mud flaps while following all safety rules and PPE requirements. Operate power hand tools and perform basic welding on metal and aluminum. Troubleshoot complex hydraulics and build schematics as needed. Train with other mechanics and complete other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of welding skills (metal and aluminum)
- 2+ years of electrical wiring
- Ability to build schematics
- Independent ability to troubleshoot
- Ability to operate power hand tools (and have basic tools)
Desired Qualifications
- Basic weld experience (helpful)
- Complex Hydraulics knowledge and experience (a plus)
