Reading Specialist Tutor

Provide specialized reading instruction to identified students using evidence-based strategies in individual and small-group settings. Deliver personalized lessons based on student needs and goals while monitoring and documenting progress. Facilitate discussions and activities to support targeted learning outcomes. Collaborate with classroom teachers and educational teams to develop and implement effective instructional strategies. Write quarterly student progress reports and communicate regularly regarding student advancement. This per diem role offers flexibility during regular and after-school hours within surrounding school districts. Successful candidates must complete SAFIS fingerprinting and CORI screening. Current Massachusetts DESE teacher certification and Wilson Reading System or Orton-Gillingham training are required.
