Job Summary
Provide reading intervention support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum, delivering supplemental assignments to promote material understanding. Offer remedial and enrichment support tailored to individual needs while communicating progress with parents or guardians. Ensure energetic delivery that caters to extensive learning styles for kindergarten through grade 12 students in San Diego.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid California State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof
- Current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate
- Experience with reading intervention programs such as Wilson Reading, UFLI, Barton, etc.
