Job Summary
Reading intervention specialist for at-risk middle school students; assist teachers with instructional methods, model ELAR lessons and effective classroom management, and prepare differentiated lessons with accommodations. Lead and disseminate information during district workshops; coordinate RTI, EL/SIOP, Dyslexia, Section 504, and SpEd processes; analyze student data to determine effective interventions and use technology to accelerate reading development. Deliver professional development to teachers, facilitate professional learning communities, and conduct conferences with parents, students, principals, and teachers. Maintain regular in-person presence and align with campus goals for student achievement in Reading. Foster collaboration and positive communication to support reading/learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas teaching certificate
- Three years or more of successful teaching experience
