Job Summary
Collaborate with the school team to improve students' reading skills through multi-sensory reading programs and strategies tailored to learners with disabilities. Develop and implement differentiated instruction while maintaining a commitment to inclusive education. Support the school's literacy-focused environment with strong communication and organizational skills. Requires a Master's degree in Reading, Literacy, or Special Education, plus certification as a Reading Specialist or Special Education Teacher. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a special education or literacy setting is necessary. Valid driver's license and satisfactory background checks are mandatory. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Reading, Literacy, Special Education, or related field
- Certification as a Reading Specialist and/or Special Education Teacher (as required by state)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a special education or literacy-focused setting
- Knowledge of multi-sensory reading programs and strategies tailored to students with learning disabilities
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
