Reading Interventionist

Job Summary
Provide individual and small-group reading interventions for students identified through screening and assessment data. Deliver literacy instruction focused on phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing. Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs. Support students in achieving grade-level reading proficiency and academic success. Utilize a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework to provide targeted interventions. Administer literacy assessments and screeners, analyze student performance data, monitor progress, and adjust interventions accordingly. Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with core instruction and participate in MTSS and student support meetings. Communicate student progress and intervention outcomes with families; work with counselors, exceptional education staff, administrators, and instructional coaches.
