Job Summary
Interventionist Teacher coordinates CSI small-group instruction for students at risk in reading and/or math, implements universal screening, Direct Instruction interventions, progress monitoring, and intensive instruction aligned to standards. Collaborates with general education teachers, delivers curriculum (including PLTW/Honors/AP where applicable), submits lesson plans in advance, uses formal and informal assessments to track progress, communicates student progress weekly to families, utilizes technology for instruction and communication, maintains behavior management consistent with campus initiatives, supports a positive school culture, and participates in after-school tutoring or Saturday sessions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution required
- High level of content-area proficiency in Math and/or ELA as evidenced by teaching certification, field of study, or work-experience
- Experience in a K-12 classroom setting strongly preferred
- Licenses or Certifications: State certification preferred but not required
