Job Summary
Conduct small-group and one-on-one virtual reading intervention sessions focused on phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Administer diagnostic assessments like Renaissance Star and Core Phonics Screeners to identify student needs, then develop and implement individualized learning goals while monitoring progress. Collect and analyze student data to measure outcomes, maintain accurate records of interventions and communication logs, and utilize online tools such as IXL to reinforce skills. Report results to administrators, partner with teachers and special education staff to align strategies with core instruction, and participate in grade level team meetings. Communicate with families to share progress and provide at-home reading resources. Requires a personal electronic device with two-step authentication.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication.
- Must be able to administer and utilize diagnostic assessments, such as Renaissance Star, Oral Reading Fluency, Core Phonics Screeners, etc.
