Job Summary
Provide research-based, direct instruction and tutoring support for individuals and in small intervention groups to facilitate the Integration of At-Risk Supports (IARS) framework. Work collaboratively with the school-wide and grade IARS team on the appropriate use of data in making educational decisions while maintaining a caseload of students receiving instructional interventions as determined by building administration. Observe curricular and extracurricular student activities, attend Intervention Specialist meetings, and share pertinent information with administration and IARS teams. Follow IARS guidelines and procedures, exhibit dependability and punctuality, and take necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a job-related area
- eligibility for a Virginia teaching license
