Job Summary
Reading Interventionist at an elementary school focused on Tier II & III interventions and site-level professional development. Responsibilities include providing small group instruction, conducting monthly intervention professional development for school-based staff, collaborating with the School Based Intervention Team to identify students needing Tier III supports, implementing research-based reading and/or math interventions, communicating progress to families and staff, documenting progress, guiding student progress with the school leadership team, participating in team reviews, providing monthly progress monitoring data, and maintaining appropriate records. Requires a collegiate/postgraduate license with PreK-6 endorsement and at least three years of teaching experience; bilingual skills in Spanish are a plus. Starts on a 9.5-month contract with a Richmond, VA assignment; online application process required.
