Job Summary
Assist teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays; help administer/score objective testing; supervise students across lunchroom, bus, and playground; cover classroom assignments when substitutes are unavailable; maintain classroom records and assist with inventory, equipment maintenance, and reports; provide orientation to substitutes and support 1-on-1 or small group instruction; engage in staff development and faculty events; uphold confidentiality and assist with classroom management and organization.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of study at an institution of higher education
- Obtained an associate’s degree or higher
- Meet a rigorous standard of quality test
- Ability to work well with children and in a 1-on-1 setting
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Experience working with children
- Ability to handle high stress and fast paced work enviroment
