Job Summary
Provide high-quality reading and math intervention to struggling readers in a Part-Time role. Implement district Tier II or III intervention programs/materials, deliver focused intervention instruction, assess progress with screening and progress-monitoring measures, and use data to guide instructional decisions. Maintain accurate records, communicate with parents/guardians, collaborate with other staff, and stay current with reading/literacy research. Must hold a Bachelor’s degree and state certification for K-5 Interventionist (Elementary and Early Childhood) per South Carolina requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher from an accredited college or university
- K-5 Interventionist must be state certified in Elementary and Early Childhood
- Certification as required by the state of South Carolina in the field of assignments as follows: K-5 Interventionist must be state certified in Elementary and Early Childhood
