Job Summary
Develop and maintain enterprise emergency management tools, templates, and planning frameworks while overseeing program execution across the Americas region. Ensure response plans, tabletop exercises, and simulations remain consistent globally, providing leadership during incident escalations and crisis activations. Lead documentation, situational awareness, and after-action processes, partnering with stakeholders to standardize scalable preparedness protocols. Maintain visibility of readiness gaps and integrate lessons learned into ongoing improvement cycles. Requires 24/7 availability and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Disaster Management, Public Safety, or a related discipline
- seven to ten years of leading an Emergency Operations Center within an Incident Command System (ICS) structure
- Comprehensive knowledge of geopolitical, environmental, and technological hazards across the Americas region
- proven ability to conduct risk vulnerability assessments
- implement proactive mitigation strategies to safeguard employees and global assets
- Able to design and facilitate tabletop drills
- designing, implementing, and auditing enterprise-wide emergency management programs
- Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
- Able to analyze complex situations and recommend solutions
- Serve as an effective team leader
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Able to work independently with little supervision
- Able to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
- Client orientated and results driven
- Computer skills; Microsoft Office
- 24/7 availability
- Travel, as required
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment

Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification such as Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), or equivalent regional credentials, preferred
