Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and delivering secure, scalable web UI and backend services using React, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java/Springboot. Drives architecture evaluation and technology adoption, leads communities of practice, mentors teams, and collaborates with external vendors and internal teams to ensure production-ready solutions. Focuses on SPA development, performance optimization, CI/CD, cloud-native deployments, security, and operational stability within a financial services context.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 7+ years applied experience in software engineering
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS, React, JavaScript, TypeScript and other web technologies
- Experience with Single Page Application (SPA) development and performance optimization
- Proficient in Java / Springboot
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (cloud, AI, ML, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS)
- Experience in Kafka, Cassandra, Cloud Micro-service Development, Restful API development
- Hands on Experience in DevOps technologies (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
