Job Summary
Provide direct care and crisis stabilization services to adults and children of the REACH program in their living environment. Assist individuals and caregivers with daily activities, treatment goals, and behavioral de-escalation while maintaining relationships with community partners. Offer coverage in REACH Crisis Therapeutic Homes and participate in required team meetings. Collect program data, prepare client documentation, and maintain case records to meet regulatory agency requirements. Engage in collaborative planning during service delivery. Requires a bachelor's degree, QMHP or QMHP-T registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling, and moderate experience with mental health and behavioral challenges. Valid Virginia driver's license and current CPR/First Aid certification are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in any field
- Must be registered as a QMHP or QMHP-T with the Virginia Board of Counseling
- hold a graduate degree and meet licensure eligibility
- Moderate experience with individuals with mental health, behavioral challenges, and intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Training in verbal de-escalation and non-violent crisis intervention
Desired Qualifications
- current enrollment may be considered for those professionals who are registered as a QMHP-T with the Virginia Board of Counseling
