Job Summary
Configure hardware and software environments, produce integration test specifications, and conduct tests to record and report outcomes. Install or remove system components using supplied instructions, confirm installations, and document results per agreed procedures. Assist in designing and changing hardware platforms with minimal disruption, prepare operational workstation baselines, and ensure security updates and hardening are deployed. Install remote application provisioning services and liaise with the Centralised Service Desk for incident, problem, and change management. This first-line REACH support technician role is based in Brunssum, Netherlands, with a hybrid policy of 90% on-site.
Required Qualifications
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience
- Secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience
- At least 2 years' experience providing functioning support of hardware, software, networks and computers in large organizations
- Hands-on experience in client provisioning, application deployment and bare metal install using MDT and SCCM as toolsets
- Practical experience detecting and troubleshooting client OS and software provisioning problems
- Knowledge of the entire Microsoft Operating system product line administration, with focus on Windows 10/11
- Deep knowledge of implementing and administering large active directory environments
- Clear communication skills and experience of end-user support
- Proficient is the use of the English Language
- Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
- Ability to work in Brunssum, Netherlands
- Hybrid, on-site 90% availability
- Some travel to other NATO sites
