Job Summary
Perform hygiene clinical procedures including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene importance and demonstrate effective methods. Communicate with the doctor regarding restorative and periodontal needs for patients. Obtain and review dental history and care slips, ensuring health records are updated for returning patients. Schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8-5 and Wednesday 9-6.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Valid state license
