Perform hygiene clinical procedures including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene importance and demonstrate effective methods. Communicate with the doctor regarding restorative and periodontal needs. Obtain and review dental history and care slips to ensure health records are updated for all returning patients. Monday 8-5 shift in a modern, state-of-the-art general dental office in San Jose, California. Requires a Dental Hygiene degree or certificate from an accredited program and a valid state license.
