Job Summary
Teach undergraduate and graduate design thinking courses in face-to-face and online formats while assessing student learning. Support students through effective communication, feedback, and availability, collaborating with program faculty and staff. Assist with Fabrication Lab activities as assigned. This role is part of the Richardson Design Center's Interdisciplinary Design Thinking Program, which fosters interdisciplinary creative collaboration using state-of-the-art equipment. Applications are reviewed as hiring needs arise; this open pool expires December 31, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Pre-employment Criminal Background Check
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 2-years industry experience in an appropriate discipline
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in an appropriate discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated success developing and teaching university and/or professional development courses
- Academic and/or professional experience using design thinking processes and methods
