Job Summary
RDA responsible for preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments per OSHA standards; assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (including ortho and oral surgery); take, develop, and process dental X-rays; maintain patient records and documentation; educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care; ensure infection control and safety protocols; manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced, multi-specialty environment; collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care; contribute to a positive patient experience from start to finish; take initiative to learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties; participate in mentoring programs to grow clinical expertise and advance your career.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
- Current X-ray certification (CA)
- Coronal polish and sealant certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA compliance
