RDA - Registered Dental Assistant

Greet patients and escort them to the operatory while assisting dentists chairside during restorative and oral surgery procedures. Prepare materials and instruments, take dental X-rays in compliance with radiation safety protocols, and maintain infection control standards. Review health histories, complete chart entries, stock operatories, and manage clinical supply inventory. Provide emotional support, educate patients on oral hygiene, and communicate respectfully with diverse backgrounds. Perform expanded duties including obtaining endodontic cultures, placing bases and liners, and managing temporary crowns. Assist with appointment scheduling, answer phones, and order supplies as needed. Maintain strict HIPAA compliance, follow healthcare regulations, and participate in Quality Assurance initiatives.
