Job Summary
Screen un-insured and under-insured patients for federally funded programs while managing scheduling, registration, insurance verification, prior-authorization, financial counseling, cashiering, and release of information. Deliver customer-facing services within Revenue Cycle System Services by adhering to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards. Perform higher complexity tasks than standard RCS-Associate roles, maintaining elevated productivity and quality benchmarks. Serve as an Individual Solutions Coordinator with a current Indiana State Navigator's license if assigned, leveraging one year of hospital or physician revenue cycle experience. Apply strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to support operational goals within the Schwarz Cancer Center team.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service
- Medicaid experience
- registration/hospital experience
- current Indiana State Navigator's license
- working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance
- high level of interpersonal and problem solving skills
- effective written and verbal communication skills
