Job Summary
Scheduling and Registration Specialist at Schwarz Cancer Center focusing on coordinated patient care: greet patients, explain scheduling policies, schedule and register patients for visits (including walk-ins), manage Cerner messages, and support welcome desk duties. Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00a–5p with no on-call or weekend requirements; located in Carmel, IN. Requires patient registration/financial clearance knowledge and strong interpersonal skills; relocation within the facility is possible as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in hospital or physician Revenue Cycle strongly preferred.
- Requires working knowledge of patient registration and financial clearance.
- Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Requires the ability to take initiative and meet objectives.
