Job Summary
Lead and oversee daily revenue cycle operations for a portfolio of independent physician practices, supervising billing, A/R, posting, denial management, and collections teams to maximize reimbursement, minimize days in A/R, and maintain high clean-claim rates. Drive end-to-end RCM processes, monitor KPIs (e.g., Days in A/R, Net/Gross Collection Rate, First-Pass Resolution, Denial Rate), ensure HIPAA/compliance, collaborate with providers and client managers to resolve workflow/documentation issues, participate in client meetings, and develop SOPs and training materials. Requires associate’s degree and 5+ years in medical billing/RCM with at least 2 years in a supervisory role; certifications such as CRCR, CPB, CPC are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of medical billing and revenue cycle management experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- Experience managing multi-specialty physician practice accounts preferred
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and payer reimbursement methodologies
- Proficiency with practice management systems and EHR platforms
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and client-facing communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
