Job Summary
Process medical billings and payment postings accurately and quickly for Veradigm's clients. Reconcile batches, complete balancing tasks within defined turnaround times, and resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance. Prepare charges for offshore operations, answer client inquiries, and perform charge entry to maintain data integrity. Assist in reviewing and closing batches while participating in payment posting audits to identify process improvements. Utilize payer websites and Laserfiche to address billing issues and support efficient billing cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills, including answering client calls, prompt return and follow-up to all interactions, and prompt responses to requests for information
- Basic knowledge of email, search engine, Internet
- Ability to effectively use payer websites and Laserfiche
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents
- Ability to respond effectively and empathetically to sensitive inquiries or complaints from employees and clients
- Ability to speak clearly and to make effective and persuasive arguments and presentations
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to apply principles of logic and analytical thinking to practical problems
- Familiarity with various medical plans

- Applicants for North American based positions with Veradigm must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada
- Verification of employment eligibility will be required as a condition of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience with various billing systems, such as NextGen, Pro and Veradigm
- Familiarity with specialties such as Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, General Surgery is a plus
