Job Summary
Recruit, supervise, and schedule Direct Support Professionals while managing vehicle usage, financial processes, and community partnerships to ensure compliance with staffing ratios. Safely administer medications, monitor needs, complete charting, and coordinate appointments alongside overseeing daily operations in a Residential Care Facility. Foster an environment of dignity and self-determination by advocating for individual choice and maintaining accurate documentation of incidents and service delivery. Requires Iowa Medication Manager Certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work 24/7. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent
- Iowa Medication Manager Certification, or ability to obtain
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to provide proof that automobile insurance covers $100,000/$300,000/$50,000 liability coverage
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to use a two-person lift, mechanical lift, or assistive equipment for lifting more than 35 pounds
- Must be able to remain awake during working hours
- Must be able to communicate through speech
- Must be able to drive and transport for service provision as needed
- Must have ability to see objects/persons at a distance
- Must have ability to see close work such as typed or handwritten material
- Must have ability to hear conversations in a quiet and a noisy environment
- Must have ability to determine where a sound is coming from
- Must have ability to hear differences among bells, buzzers, beeps, horns, etc.
