Job Summary
Body Shop Vehicle Prepper needed to wash, sand, and mask vehicles to prep for painting and repairs; inspect for dents/scratches, apply primer/sealers for paint adhesion, assist with disassembly/reassembly, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Collaborate with body shop technicians and painters; must be detail-oriented with strong quality control, capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. English proficiency required; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Prior body shop or auto auction experience highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle prepping, detailing, or body shop work
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Ability to use hand tools safely
- Detail-oriented with strong focus on quality and precision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in body shop or auto auction environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform manual labor tasks
