Job Summary
Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum focused on employment, independent living, and social skills for individuals with developmental disabilities across various community settings. Supervise program participants during instruction and community outings, ensuring safety and adherence to Individual Service Plans while collecting daily data. Collaborate with employers and community partners to meet expectations, modify behaviors using positive behavioral support strategies, and provide physical assistance such as wheelchair transfers. Maintain accurate progress reports and paperwork within required timeframes. Participate in weekly team meetings and trainings as assigned. Requires a valid driver's license, clean DMV record, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8AM-4PM.
Required Qualifications
- BACB approved 40-hour RBT training requirements
- First Aid/CPR and Core Competency Training
- Direct Support Professional Training
- current California Driver's license/Insurance
- clean DMV
- criminal record clearance through the DOJ
- PCMA training
- Professional Crisis Management Certification
- Ability to drive company and/or personal vehicle
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to provide physical assistance and/or push clients up to 250lbs in a wheelchair
- Ability to assist adult clients transitioning in and out of vehicle and in the restroom
