RBI Practitioners - EPC and Operational Phase

Job Summary
RBI Practitioners will support Corrosion Engineers and Inspection Engineers by performing hands-on RBI modeling and data-management work for EPC project phases. Responsibilities include populating RBI templates and risk models per API/DNV methods, extracting and validating data from CAD drawings and engineering documents, markup of corrosion loops and inspection points on drawings, supporting degradation mechanism assessment, developing inspection strategies and PoF/CoF inputs, data mining/cleansing from EPC deliverables and vendor records, uploading and validating data within RBI/IDMS platforms, and contributing to RBI reports and technical documentation for EPC reviews. Role ensures conformance with client standards, international codes, and project specs; coordination with corrosion, mechanical, and inspection teams to resolve data gaps and maintain cross-deliverable consistency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years combined experience in RBI studies (EPC/operational)
- Experience with RBI/IDMS platforms (e.g., Antea, Meridium/APM, DNV Synergi, Credo, Intertek Aware)
- API 580 qualified or minimum 5 years proven RBI experience
- API 581 training an advantage
- AMPP/NACE certifications beneficial but not essential
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings (PFDs, P&IDs, UFDs, isometrics)
- Familiarity with degradation mechanisms, corrosion loops, CML strategies, and inspection planning
- Working knowledge of CMMS (SAP, Maximo) beneficial
