Job Summary
Welcome and greet guests, inform them of specials and menu changes, and make personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Take food and beverage orders, enter them into the point-of-sale system, and deliver items from the kitchen and bar promptly. Conduct age verification for alcohol service, monitor guest consumption, and respond courteously to any requests or concerns. Prepare final bills, process payments, and assist fellow servers or bussers as needed. Maintain clean service areas and ensure a safe environment while adhering to all company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Handlers Certification
- Valid Alcohol Service Certification
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum one year experience as a server
- Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of dining room operations and service procedures
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the duration of the shift
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 40 lbs. or more
- Climb ladder when reaching for items that are on upper shelves
- Exposure to varying temperatures, hot (kitchen) and cold (walk ins)
