Job Summary
Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift, clear tables after guests, and take soiled tableware to the dish room to unload, sort, and stack silverware, dishes, and glassware. Between seating, promptly clean tabletops, chairs, and booths. Respond promptly to guest requests by communicating them to servers as needed, assist with food delivery for large parties during peak periods, and thank guests as they leave. Maintain a clean and organized service area while being available to fill in as directed by the manager or director to ensure smooth operations. Wash and sanitize hands frequently, stand and walk for extended periods, and safely carry trays and supplies up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Handlers Certification
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the duration of the shift
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop lift and carry up to 50 lbs. or more
- Must maintain a clean and organized service area
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
Desired Qualifications
- Restaurant experience in hospitality environment preferred, but not required
- Basic knowledge of restaurant service procedures and table setup
- Understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills
- Ability to multitask and efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Team-oriented with a willingness to assist coworkers as needed
- Ability to clear, clean, and reset tables efficiently
- Ability to carry trays, dishes, and supplies safely
