Job Summary

Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry (predominantly non-isolated and isolated switch-mode power converters and linear converters) for board-mounted power end use; work on ECAD-driven layout with guidance from senior engineers; develop and execute test procedures, capture data, and analyze results to verify compliance with project requirements; assist in circuit card development from requirements definition through initial integration testing, and guide drafters through layout and routing activities. Knowledge of power electronics, FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters, data termination, clock termination, and experience with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools is preferred; familiarity with simulators such as SIMPLIS or SABER, and tools like DxDesigner or Hyperlynx is desirable; prior exposure to high-voltage considerations (>400V, >10kW) and cross-functional teamwork in a defense context is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
