Job Summary
Create stock transfers and monitor delivery performance from the 3PL warehouse to the plant. Establish targeted safety stock levels in SAP ERP with the Plant Scheduling Manager to drive accurate material planning requirements. Orchestrate communication between Procurement, vendors, and 3PL partners to keep the Plant Scheduling team aware of delivery status and risks. Verify plant inventory accuracy through warehouse cycle counts and process order consumption monitoring. Manage Purchase Orders and Stock Transfer Orders to ensure fulfillment rates and proper closing within 24 hours. Maintain 99.5% location record accuracy and close all process orders promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in materials/inventory planning, purchasing, or supply chain coordination
- Direct experience creating and managing Purchase Orders and Stock Transfer Orders within an ERP/MRP environment
- Working knowledge of an ERP/MRP system
- Intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup functions) to support inventory and performance metric reporting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across Plant Scheduling/Warehouse Teams, Procurement, and 3PL partners
- Ability to work on-site
