Job Summary
Receive raw material (wood chip) delivered at the facility and load/unload it with a wheel loader. Grind wood chips using plane machinery to produce wood flakes, adjusting and sharpening blades as required. Load the mixing platform with flakes, prepare and maintain the molding plate, and ensure it is free of dust before placing raw material. Move plates with a forklift or hoist crane, grind defective plates to reuse them, and maintain records of received materials, usage, and defects. Report machinery damage or malfunctions to the supervisor. Adhere to safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures while wearing required PPE. Work the D shift (7 PM to 7:30 AM) in a dusty, noisy plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs and to push-pull up to 75lbs
- Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping
- Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy
- Must be able to safely walk and work around machinery
- Must be able to work required shift and work overtime with short notice
- Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures

Desired Qualifications
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Wheel Loader Certification preferred
- Experience in operating hoist crane preferred
