Raw Material & Packaging Inventory Specialist

Job Summary
Receive, unload, inspect, and accurately record all incoming raw materials, packaging materials, and production supplies while verifying shipments against purchase orders and bills of lading. Perform incoming material inspections per FSQA requirements, utilize handheld RF scanners to complete inventory transactions, and process all movements within the ERP system. Conduct scheduled cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organized warehouse locations while adhering to First-In, First-Out practices for lot numbers and expiration dates. Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Warehouse Operations, and FSQA to ensure material availability, communicate shortages or variances to leadership, and maintain a clean, safe environment complying with food safety standards. Requires forklift operation, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and work overtime or weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to safely operate stand-up forklifts, sit-down forlifts, electric pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb throughout the workday
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible schedules
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of inventory control, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience
- Experience working with raw material and packaging inventories
- Forklift operation experience
- Experience using ERP systems, warehouse management systems, and handheld RF scanners
