Job Summary
Unload inbound raw material and move it to specified locations as directed by the Raw Materials Handler Team Leader. Remove scrap from the Production floor and assist with housekeeping duties including dusting and mopping to maintain safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned while ensuring raw material is delivered accurately and on time. Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., with expected overtime during peak periods from February through September. This role supports production teams at Gabriella White, a family-owned furniture retailer since 1987.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Good attendance
- Demonstrated work ethic
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
- Close vision
- Distance vision
- Ability to adjust focus (correctable)
- Ability to hear clearly while working in person (correctable)
