Job Summary
The Electrician role involves practicing safety rules and utilizing hand and power tools effectively. Candidates will assist supervisors, ensure quality work as per project specifications, and are accountable for tools and materials. The job requires the ability to perform electrical terminations, read construction drawings, install cabling, and use electrical testing equipment. Candidates must also be able to work in confined spaces, withstand outdoor environmental conditions, and comply with strict safety policies. A background in electrical systems with 1 to 4 years of relevant experience is ideal.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 4 years of experience in electrical systems
- Ability to read construction drawings and understand specifications
- Ability to perform terminations up to 1500V ac and dc
- Ability to install underground cabling and conduits
- Ability to run basic electrical test equipment
- Ability to work with, train, and mentor helpers
- Ability to comply with drug and alcohol abuse policy
- Ability to pass physical examinations as required
Additional Requirements
- Applicant must not pose a direct threat to health or safety
- Applicant must be clean shaven to wear respirators and safety equipment
