Job Summary
Rating Analyst for S&P Global Ratings National Scale Ratings in Colombia/ Panamá. Contribute to a collaborative team evaluating and surveilling national credit ratings using traditional analysis and AI-assisted data processing; prepare documents and presentations for rating committees; gather and organize key financial, technical, and industry data; ensure data quality; support Senior Analysts; and publish thought leadership articles. Must work from office at least 2 days/week. Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or related field and 1+ years in credit analysis; strong quantitative skills and bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related subject
- 1+ years of experience in credit analysis (corporates, infrastructure, local and regional governments and structured finance)
- Strong analytical skills with financial statement analysis
- Ability to communicate in Spanish and English
